We hosted a dinner for eight people cooked by a professional chef. Our house. Friends. Dinner. Big-deal chef. It was so awesome and so fun!
I had been feeling very woe-is-me about our new rental, and about having (not having) friends in town. This dinner crushed those sad feelings to the ground. Hooray!
Here's the photo recap. The pictures do not do the food at all justice. It was fancy pants. BOLD flavors, to say the least. That's balsalmic popcorn with pork that was served to us as an amuse bouche. Amuse bouche in my own home!
