Why more apples? Because on Sunday we attended Apple Festival at our local nursery. Apple Festival!
You can tell it's happening by the giant apple in the sky...
We didn't know what to expect so were very happy to find apple treats, live music, cooking demonstrations, and a mellow crowd. We lined up to taste what must have been at least 30 apple varieties and bought a few pounds of our favorites.
What do you do with many pounds of apples? Cook em up for yummy sauce! And save a few for another apple pie...
